Your data on this site

Privacy policy

MopRoute is a small business tool published by a small company. This policy explains, in plain language, exactly what happens to the information you send us and what you can ask us to do with it.

Last updated March 2, 2026

Who is responsible for your data

The data controller is MLJ, SASU, publisher of moproute.com, represented by Jimenez Julien. You can reach the person responsible for privacy questions directly at jimenezjulien42@gmail.com. There is no privacy department to route your message through, and no ticket system standing between you and an answer.

What the contact form collects

The demo request form on the home page is the only place this website asks you for personal information. When you submit it, the following fields are transmitted to us: name (your full name), email (your work email address), company (your cleaning company name), role (your job title chosen from a list), request (what you would like from us), size (the number of cleaners you run), message (the free text you write to us) and consent (the record that you ticked the consent box).

Three hidden fields travel with the submission for routing purposes: form-name, which tells the form service which form was used, subject, which labels the notification email, and recipient, which is the address the notification is sent to. A honeypot field named bot-field is included and left empty by human visitors. It exists only to catch automated spam and is discarded.

The form service also records technical information attached to the submission, such as the time it was received and the IP address it came from. We do not ask for payment details, government identifiers or any information about the people who work for you, and you should not put that kind of information in the free text box.

Why we process it, and on what legal basis

We use what you send for one purpose: to answer you, arrange a demo if you asked for one, and follow up about that request. Under the EU General Data Protection Regulation the legal basis is your consent, given by ticking the consent box, together with our legitimate interest in responding to a business enquiry addressed to us. We do not use your details for unrelated marketing, we do not add you to a newsletter you did not ask for, and we never sell, rent or trade your information.

Who processes and stores submissions

Form submissions are processed and stored by Netlify, Inc., 512 2nd Street, Suite 200, San Francisco, CA 94107, United States, which hosts this website and operates the Netlify Forms service. A copy of each submission is emailed to the publisher and kept in that mailbox. No other company receives your submission. We use no advertising trackers, no third party analytics cookies, no session recording, no advertising pixels and no cross site profiling on this website. The site sets no cookie of its own for visitors who simply read the pages.

How long we keep it

Enquiries that do not turn into a customer relationship are deleted from the form store and from the mailbox within 24 months of the last message exchanged. Where you become a MopRoute customer, the contact record is kept for the life of the subscription and then for the statutory accounting retention period that applies to business records. You can ask us to delete your enquiry earlier and we will do it without asking why.

International transfers

The publisher is established in France and the hosting and form processing take place in the United States. Where personal data is transferred outside the European Economic Area, the transfer is covered by the European Commission standard contractual clauses included in the Netlify data processing agreement, together with the technical measures described in this policy. If you are writing to us from the United States, your data stays with a United States processor.

Your rights under United States state privacy laws

If you are a resident of California, Colorado, Connecticut, Utah or Virginia, you have the right to know what personal information we hold about you, to obtain a copy of it, to have it corrected, and to have it deleted. You may also opt out of the sale or sharing of personal information and of targeted advertising. We make that simple: we do not sell or share personal information, and we run no targeted advertising, so there is nothing to opt out of. California residents have the additional right not to receive discriminatory treatment for exercising these rights, which we honor. To exercise any of them, write to jimenezjulien42@gmail.com from the address you contacted us with, and we will respond within 45 days. If we decline a request you may appeal it by replying to our answer, and we will review the appeal within a further 45 days.

Your rights under the GDPR

If the GDPR applies to you, you have the right of access, rectification, erasure, restriction of processing, objection to processing, and data portability, as well as the right to withdraw consent at any time without affecting processing already carried out. Send your request to jimenezjulien42@gmail.com. We answer within one month. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with your national supervisory authority, which in France is the Commission Nationale de l'Informatique et des Libertes.

Customer data inside the MopRoute application

This policy covers the moproute.com website. Inside the application, the property records, checklists, completion history and photographs your crews upload belong to your company, and we act as a processor on your instructions. That data is encrypted in transit and at rest, backed up daily, restricted to the staff who need it for support, and never used to train models or build data products. Customers can export it as PDF and CSV at any time, and we delete it within 30 days of a written request after cancellation. The commercial side of that relationship is described in the terms of service.

Security

The site is served over HTTPS with strict transport security, a content sniffing protection header, a referrer policy and a permissions policy that denies camera, microphone and geolocation access to the pages of this website. Access to the form submission store is protected by two factor authentication. No system is perfect, and if a breach ever affects your data we will tell you and the relevant supervisory authority within the deadlines the law sets.

Children's privacy

MopRoute is a business tool sold to companies and is not directed at children. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 16 years of age. If you believe a child has sent us information through this website, write to us and we will delete it promptly.

Changes to this policy

If this policy changes, the new version is published on this page with a new update date at the top. Material changes affecting people who already contacted us are also announced by email. The date shown at the top of this page is always the date of the version you are reading.
