The agreement
Terms of service
These terms govern your use of the MopRoute route board, property checklists, photo proof storage and the reports generated from them. They are written to be read once, by a busy person, and understood.
Last updated March 2, 20261. Acceptance
By creating a MopRoute account, sending a request through the form on this website, or using the service in any way, you agree to these terms on behalf of the company you represent. If you do not agree with them, do not use the service. The person who accepts these terms confirms that they have the authority to bind their company.
2. What the service is
MopRoute is a web application for cleaning companies. It stores your properties and their service recurrence, builds a routed list of stops for each cleaner on each service day, presents a per property scope of work checklist on the cleaner's device, records completion with a timestamp and the identity of the person who closed the stop, stores the photographs your team attaches to flagged checklist lines, and produces shareable proof pages, PDF reports and CSV exports from that record.
MopRoute does not clean buildings, does not employ your cleaners, does not process your payroll, does not send invoices to your clients and does not guarantee the quality of the work your crews perform. It is a record and dispatch tool. The commercial relationship with your clients remains entirely yours.
3. Accounts and eligibility
The service is sold to businesses, not to consumers. You must be at least 18 years old and operating a lawful cleaning business to hold an account. You are responsible for the accuracy of the information in your account, for keeping login credentials confidential, and for everything done under your account by your staff. Tell us promptly at jimenezjulien42@gmail.com if you believe an account has been used without your permission, and we will help you secure it.
4. Acceptable use
You agree not to use MopRoute to store anything unlawful, to photograph people in a way that breaks the law or your own client agreements, to attempt to gain access to another company's data, to probe or overload the service, to resell access without a written agreement with us, or to copy the application in order to build a competing product. Photographs uploaded to MopRoute should show the work, not the occupants of a building. You are responsible for telling your crews what they may and may not photograph on a client site.
5. Subscription and billing
MopRoute is sold on three monthly plans: Two Cleaners at $29 per month, Growing Crew at $79 per month and Full Company at $159 per month. Prices are in United States dollars and exclude any sales tax or VAT that may apply to your business. Each plan includes the limits published on the pricing section of the home page, and every plan includes the route board, the checklists, photo storage and the proof exports.
Subscriptions are billed monthly in advance, on the calendar day that matches the day you started, and renew automatically until you cancel. If your crew grows beyond the limits of your plan, we will contact you before moving you to the next plan, and the change takes effect at the start of the following billing month. There is no setup fee and no minimum term. Failed payments are retried for ten days, after which access is suspended until the balance is settled. Your data is not deleted during a suspension.
6. Cancellation
You may cancel at any time from your account settings. Cancellation stops the next renewal and access continues until the end of the period you have already paid for. We do not charge a cancellation fee and we do not require notice. Partial months are not refunded, except where the law of your state requires it or where a fault on our side prevented you from using the service for a material part of the month, in which case we will refund that month on request. Your export links remain available for 30 days after the end of the subscription.
7. Your data and your photographs
Your properties, checklists, completion records and photographs remain your property at all times. You grant MLJ, SASU a limited license to host, process, back up and display that content for the sole purpose of operating the service for you and providing support. We do not sell your data, do not share it with advertisers, and do not use it to train machine learning models. You can export everything as PDF and CSV whenever you want, and we delete your data within 30 days of a written deletion request. Further detail is set out in the privacy policy.
8. Service availability and support
We aim for the service to be reachable every day and we schedule maintenance outside common cleaning hours where we can. We do not promise uninterrupted availability. Support is provided by email at jimenezjulien42@gmail.com, answered by a person within one business day, Monday to Friday, and on the same business day for Full Company subscribers. Because crews work nights, urgent issues that block a route are treated as urgent whenever they arrive.
9. Warranty disclaimer
The service is provided on an as is and as available basis. To the fullest extent permitted by law, we disclaim all implied warranties, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose and non infringement. We do not warrant that the routing suggestions are optimal for every road network, that every photograph will upload from a basement with no signal, or that the service will meet a specific regulatory requirement of one of your clients without you checking it first.
10. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, the total liability of MLJ, SASU arising out of or relating to the service is limited to the amount you paid for the subscription during the twelve months before the event giving rise to the claim. We are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, including lost profits, lost accounts, lost contracts, reputational harm or the cost of re-cleaning a property. Nothing in these terms limits liability for fraud, for willful misconduct, or for anything that cannot lawfully be limited.
11. Indemnity
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless MLJ, SASU and Jimenez Julien against claims, damages and reasonable legal costs arising from your use of the service in breach of these terms, from content your team uploads, or from a dispute between you and one of your cleaning clients about work recorded in MopRoute.
12. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms to reflect changes to the service or to the law. Material changes are announced by email to account holders at least 30 days before they take effect, and the updated date at the top of this page always reflects the version you are reading. Continuing to use MopRoute after a change takes effect means you accept the new version. If you do not accept it, you may cancel before the effective date and we will refund any unused prepaid month.
13. Governing law and jurisdiction
These terms are governed by French law. Any dispute that cannot be settled amicably will be brought before the competent courts of Paris, France. Nothing in this clause removes any mandatory protection available to you under the law of your state of residence in the United States.
14. Contact
Questions about these terms, about a plan, or about an invoice go to jimenezjulien42@gmail.com. The publisher details, including the company registration numbers, are on the legal notice page.
